Religion

People sometimes ask me how I manage to reconcile my religious beliefs with my scientific career. I usually give an answer like this: “In all my years studying physics, I never ran into anything that contradicted my religious faith.” Religious truth and scientific truth should never contradict each other. If you believe that there is any disagreement between the two, then your understanding of one or the other is wrong.

I’ve written a handful of articles addressing religious topics, beginning with a three-part discussion of the fundamental question of religion: Does God exist? My other articles attempt to make sense of particular quirks of my own religious beliefs, which come from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
